These Terms & Conditions govern the appliance repair service provided by Fixera ("we," "us," "our") to you, the customer. By booking a service with us - online through our booking page, by phone, or by email - you agree to these terms. We review them periodically, and the version in effect is the one published here at the time you book. We repair residential washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, ranges, cooktops, and microwaves across Tacoma and South King County; see our services for details.
Booking & scheduling
When you request service, we confirm an appointment window between our operating hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, seven days a week. Same-day service may be available depending on demand and your location. The arrival window is an estimate; traffic, parts, or earlier jobs can shift it, and we will keep you informed if timing changes. New customers are eligible for 15% off the first repair, applied when work is approved.
Diagnostic fee & flat-rate quotes
We charge a $79 diagnostic fee for a technician to inspect your appliance and identify the fault. This fee is credited toward the cost of the repair when you authorize the work. If you choose not to proceed, the $79 covers the visit and diagnosis. Before any repair begins, we provide a flat-rate quote for your approval. No repair work is performed until you approve that quote, and you are never charged for work you have not authorized. If a separate, unrelated fault is found during the repair, we quote it for your approval before acting on it.
Payment
Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods stated at the time of booking. The approved flat-rate price covers the specific repair described in the quote; it does not include future, unrelated failures or appliances not listed in that quote.
Warranty
Completed repairs are backed by our 180-day parts and labor warranty. If a part we supplied or the workmanship we performed fails within that period under normal use, we will correct it at no additional charge. This warranty does not cover new or unrelated faults, misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear. Parts that you supply are installed professionally but carry no warranty from us, and we cannot guarantee an outcome that depends on customer-supplied parts.
Access requirements
You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to the appliance and to ensure a responsible adult (18 or older) is present for the duration of the service. Please clear the work area and secure pets beforehand. If the appliance cannot be safely reached, the utility supply is unsafe, or no adult is present, the technician may be unable to complete the work, and a return visit may be required.
Cancellations & return visits
We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. If we arrive for a confirmed appointment and cannot gain access or no one is available, or if a return visit becomes necessary for reasons outside our control, an additional trip charge may apply. We will always explain any such charge before it is incurred.
Limitation of liability
We perform all work with professional care by experienced, EPA-certified technicians, and we are licensed and insured. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the repair we performed. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, prior or hidden damage, the condition of an appliance beyond the work we carried out, or losses arising from issues unrelated to that work.
