Who we're looking for
You do not need a perfect resume. You need a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to do the job well. We value experience, and we are also glad to train motivated people who are ready to learn.
- Appliance-repair experience - a real plus, but a genuine willingness to train counts too.
- EPA Section 608 certification - required before you work on sealed refrigeration systems; if you are not certified yet, we will help you get there.
- A customer-first attitude - you are polite, on time, and respectful of people's homes.
- A valid driver license - and a clean, safe driving record, since the job involves traveling to homes.
- Honesty and reliability - when you say you will be there, you show up.
If you take pride in your tools, explain repairs clearly, and leave a kitchen cleaner than you found it, you will fit right in.
What the work looks like
Our technicians diagnose the problem, give the customer a clear flat-rate quote, and complete the repair once it is approved. You will work with a range of appliances and brands, so no two days are exactly alike. We back our repairs with a parts and labor warranty, which means we care about doing the job right, not just fast.
You will be the face of Fixera in someone's home. We trust you to represent the company well, and we support you with the tools and information to do that.
